Made in China

I once heard this famous joke," God created the heaven and the earth, everything else is made in China".

I laughed, of course. But as I was thinking of it, I am trying to weigh in if it is an insult or complement to the said country. As for me, it could be a complement, a clear illustration of how China made products have put an impact in today's market.

As for heavy equipment used for construction here in the Philippines, it is not a new issue. 10 years ago, China units have never had a market share for heavy equipment units. But just months after that, almost the majority of the shares are being captured by them. Not just that they have a very very very (I am indeed emphasizing this part) cheap price, we can say somehow that their "quality" is not that by far of in terms of competitiveness. Though there are still those buyers who prefer already known products this does not mean zero sales for this "cheap" brands.

As a matter of fact, even Local Government Units are now acquiring units that are China in brand. It goes to show on how magnificently have they put its name to the market.

Any reaction? Made in China units, can they really be trusted or not? It is up to you to decide.
